This is to clear up the difference between playing str8 and playing sim. Everyone is already expected to play a str8 game, but we also need to play sim. This means playing the game like a real coach would-- You shouldn't run the same 3/4 plays all game, on offense or defense.
Example: If your opponent comes out in a big set, you shouldn't be coming out in dime defense all the time, try to mix up your formations and calls in regard to what your opponent is doing. Don't call the same blitz every play or every other play of the game-- Don't come out in goalline defense or offense unless it's at the appropriate time-- 1st down and 10 isn't an appropriate time. If you have concerns that your opponent will see what formation you're in and then audible, then set up your audibles before the game and be ready to counter it. Most of these things should be common sense but sometimes people like to do the same thing the entire game no matter what. You will either be forfeiting the game/s in question and if it continues you will be replaced in the league. Our goal is for everyone to have fun in every game; but that is not possible if we are not all following the same rules. The rules are clearly posted and everyone should know that we expect "Sim" style play, and what that means.
